Kothy Vantersa (also known as Kothy)

Kothy Vantersa is also known as Kothy. As there are 3 Kothys in this district it is often referred to as Vantersa Kothy.

Kothy is a village of 1500 inhabitants circled to the north by a village of Dora, to the west by Kamboly, to the south by Tankarya and to the east by Simartha. It is understood that the village was a settlement created by 4 brothers who travelled to this site to set up homes.

Kothy is situated in Taluka Amode and District Bharuch. It is some 20 miles from Bharuch and 15 miles from Amode.

It has a population of 1500 people. Like many Gujaraties people have left Kothy and have settled all over the world.
